Philips S337 Review

Philips S337 is a mid level Android phone, featuring a 5 mega-pixels back side camera, a pretty large 5" display and a high-tech Quad-Core CPU ticking at 1300 megahertz.

This phone is a very compact phone, taking into consideration it features a 5 inches screen and it only has 5.7 inches long. The Philips S337's thickness of 0.41" is a little bit far from nowadays standards, but it still feels fine in the hand. Philips only sells this cellphone in 16 777 216 color. The Philips S337 is much lighter than what one would think about a cellphone this size.

This phone includes a good level 5" display with a 480 x 854 resolution, providing this phone with a decent image quality.

This phone is powered by a very powerful 1.3 gigahertz Quad-Core processing unit and only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a bit disappointing for a phone this powerful. A good aspect of the Philips S337 is the 8 GB quite large internal memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, which allows you to install a couple hundred apps without any problem.

This phone provides wifi capability (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a hotspot). The Philips S337 doesn't use a SIM card, because it's not a GSM phone.

This phone also includes a couple nice characteristics as Bluetooth (2.1 ) and GPS Geolocation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This device packs a 2000 mAh medium Li - Ion battery, which is quite low for a demanding cellphone like this.
