Philips S396 Review

Philips S396 is a mid-level Android phone, coming with a pretty large 5" screen, a fast 1 GHz Quad-Core processing unit, an 8 megapixels back-facing camera and an 8 mega-pixels front-facing camera. That's all? Not at all, it's only the introduction of a much deeper review.

This phone ships with a MediaTek MT6735P system chip, backed up by a powerful Quad-Core processing unit clocking at 1000 MHz and 1 GB RAM. A nice point of this cellphone is the 8 GB quite big internal memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, enough to install hundreds of apps without worrying about space.

Though the Philips S396 only has 5.59 inches long and 2.87 inches wide, it still manages to contain a 5 inches screen. Being just 0.38" thick,the Philips S396 is thin and good-looking.

This cellphone has a good level 5" screen with a 720 x 1280 (HD) resolution, providing this phone with a very nice graphic quality.

This cellphone provides wi-fi capability (but it can't be provided to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G LTE high performance data connection and also HSPA+ internet connection, that is a bit slower 4G network and the fastest 3G internet connection, using HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. This phone doesn't have a sim card, because it's not a GSM enabled cellphone.
