Philips Xenium X598 Review

Philips Xenium X598 is a powerful device, packed with a really big 5.5-inches screen, a high-tech 1500 MHz Octa-Core processing unit, and two cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back side camera and a 13 mega-pixels front camera. That's everything we have to say? Not at all, it's just the starting point.

Philips decided to build this cellphone with a high-tech Octa-Core processing unit speeding at 1.5 gigahertz and a great 4 GB of RAM memory. This device counts with a great 64 GB internal storage memory and an SD memory slot, which allows you to store lots of apps, games, songs, photos and videos without worrying about how much storage is left.

This cellphone is just 0.37 inches thick, making it one of the thinnest cellphones on sale. This cellphone is a very compact phone, given that it features a 5.5" screen and it only has 6.09 inches long and 3.01 inches wide. Philips did a great job making this phone as lightweight as 5.91 oz.

This phone counts with WiFi connectivity (although it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a hotspot), LTE-A (4G) super fast connectivity and also HSPA+ connectivity (a lower speed 4G variation) and the fastest 3G internet connection, over HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. This phone doesn't use a SIM card, because it isn't a GSM enabled device.

This phone comes with a 4000 mAh big Li - Ion non-replaceable battery that can keep this phone running for several hours and even reach the end of the day without charging it. An issue to evaluate is that the Philips Xenium X598's battery is non-removable so you can't buy a new battery when it begins to get older, even though with such a big battery you will probably buy a new cellphone before that becomes a real problem.

This phone also comes with some nice features such as Fingerprint ID, Bluetooth (4.0 ) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This cellphone is probably the correct option for you no matter if you want it to take many pictures, will use it as a social phone, will use it for work or want it to play lots of games.
