Samsung Blue Earth Review

Samsung Blue Earth is a low level device released some years ago, in 2009, with a 3" capacitive touch-screen and a 3 mega-pixels back camera. Let's take a closer sight of what this phone can do.

This cellphone counts with a 133,12 MB internal storage, which could be enough for basic users having that this cellphone also has an external memory slot to store songs, photographs and videos and even some games and apps that can be installed in the external memory.

This phone isn't really a compact phone, given that it is 4.25 inches long and 2.11 inches wide,but it only contains a 3 inches screen. This cellphone is a little thick compared to today's phones, with a thickness of 0.56 inches. This phone is quite heavy comparing with today standards, with a weight of 4.2 ounces.

The Samsung Blue Earth only features a 3 mega-pixels back camera. It can also film videos in 320x240 (QVGA).

Samsung packed this device with a interesting 3" screen, and a resolution of 400 x 240 , which makes everything look quite colorful and brightful. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, but it doesn't allow multi-touch gestures.

The Samsung Blue Earth features wi-fi capability (although it can't provide it to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and fast 3G connectivity, using HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Samsung Blue Earth uses a SIM card to use GSM services.

This phone has a 1080 mAh small capacity Li-Ion replaceable battery that can keep it running for many hours, but you may need to charge it if you use it heavily. Samsung says this device has a stand by time of 550 hs and a talk time of 9.6 hs.

The Samsung Blue Earth also features a couple of interesting characteristics like Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS Navigation, and Accelerometer.
