Samsung Galaxy Apollo Review

Samsung Galaxy Apollo is a quite basic Android phone, provisioned with a 3.2 inches display and a 3 mega-pixels back side camera.

This phone isn't very light comparing to other cellphones , with a weight of 3.99 ounces. The Apollo is 4.47 inches long, but it's only able to pack a much smaller 3.2" screen.

Samsung equipped the Apollo with a nice 3.2-inches display, and a resolution of 400 x 240 , making everything look quite good. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This cellphone counts with a mediocre 153,6 MB internal storage memory, which could be enough for basic users having that it also has an external SD slot to store songs, photos and videos and even some apps and games that allow external memory installation.

This phone has Wi-Fi connection (although it can't share it with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and the fastest 3G connection type, over HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Apollo works with a SIM card for GSM connection.

This cellphone only features a 3 mega-pixels back-facing camera. The camera also has some nice characteristics like fast burst mode, auto-focus and smile detection shooting.

This device comes with a mid capacity 1500 mAh Li-Ion removable battery, which is quite poor for a consuming phone like this. This phone has a reported 625 hours stand by time and a 15.2 hs talk time.

This device also features some interesting features like Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
