Samsung Galaxy Chat Review

Samsung Galaxy Chat is a fair quality device launched many years ago, packing a fast processor clocking at 850 megahertz, a little 3-inches multi touch display and a 2 mega-pixels back camera.

This phone is equipped with a quite powerful CPU running at 850 megahertz.

Samsung offers the Chat in black and white. This device is 4.68 inches long, it just packs a smaller 3" screen. The Chat's thickness of 0.46" is a little far from nowadays standards, but it still feels right in the hand. This phone is a bit heavy for a phone of this size, weighting 3.95 ounces.

Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This cellphone counts with Wi-Fi connection (although it can't be provided to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and the fastest 3G data connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card for GSM networks.

The Chat has only a 2 MP back-facing camera. It also captures VGA 640x480 videos at 25 fps. This camera also includes geo tagging.

The Chat also includes a handful of cool features like Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS Geolocation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone has a 1200 mAh small Li-Ion replaceable battery providing this phone with a quite short battery duration. Samsung says this device has a talk time of 14.7 hours and a stand by time of 520 hours.
