Samsung Indulge Review

Samsung Indulge is a mid-end device, counting with a medium 3.5-inches multi-touch display, a processor running at 1000 MHz and a 3 MP back side camera. But it's time to get into some more details.

The Samsung Indulge isn't very light for a device this size, weighting 5.35 oz. The Samsung Indulge is quite thick for current standards, with a thickness of 0.6 inches. This phone isn't a compact phone, given that it is 5.2 inches long,but it only packs a 3.5 inches screen.

Samsung decided to sell this phone with a fast processing unit clocking at 1000 MHz, bundled in a Samsung Exynos 3 system chip. Graphic calculations usually eats a lot of processing time, so it has an additional PowerVR SGX540 GPU working at 200 MHz to unload the CPU. This phone comes with a medium 2 GB internal storage memory, which is enough for the vast majority of users knowing that the Samsung Indulge also has an SD card slot .

Samsung designed this cellphone with a good 3.5-inches screen, and a resolution of 480 x 320 , making everything look nice. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

This phone provides WiFi connectivity (although it can't provide it to other devices as a mobile hotspot) and 3G data connection, supported by EV-DO A technologies. This cellphone doesn't use a SIM card, because it isn't a GSM enabled phone and it works with CDMA carriers.

This cellphone has only a 3 MP back facing camera.

The Samsung Indulge also includes a few useful features as Bluetooth (enables communication with other cellphones and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This phone comes with a medium sized 1500 mAh Li-Ion removable battery, which is not really enough for a thirsty cellphone like this. Samsung claims this cellphone has a talk time of 3 hours and a stand by time of 300 hours.
