Samsung Wave 578 Review

Samsung Wave 578 is a modest cellphone launched in 2011, counting with a quite powerful MHz CPU, a medium sized 3.2-inches screen, a 3.2 megapixels back facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera.

Samsung appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 3.52 ounces device.

This phone comes with a powerful megahertz processor. The Samsung Wave 578 counts with a 102,4 MB internal storage, a poor amount that could be adequate for basic users having that it also has a slot for external memory cards to store songs, photos and videos and even some apps that can be installed in the external memory.

This phone features two cameras, a 3.2 MP back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera. This cellphone also films 320x240 QVGA videos at 20 frames per second.

This cellphone has a good level 3.2-inches screen with a 400 x 240 resolution, making everything look quite vivid. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This device features a mediocre 1200 mAh Li-Ion removable battery that provides the Samsung Wave 578 a not very long battery lifecompared to other phones. This phone has an aproximate 700 hs stand by time and a 12.5 hours talk time according to Samsung.

This phone provides wi-fi connection (although it can't provide it to other devices acting as a hotspot) and fast 3G internet connection, using HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card for GSM carriers.

This phone also features a couple interesting features like Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth (allows communication with other cellphones, computers and accessories) and FM Radio, and a couple sensors likeProximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
