Samsung Wave Y Review

Samsung Wave Y is a decent bada phone, featuring a 2 mega-pixels back side camera, a good performance CPU clocking at 832 MHz and a 3.2" multi touch screen.

Even though this cellphone is 4.33" long and 2.29 inches wide, it only comes with a much smaller 3.2" screen. This phone doesn't feel very lightweight comparing with today standards, weighting 3.61 ounces.

Samsung equipped this cellphone with a good level 3.2 inches display, and a 480 x 320 resolution, providing this cellphone with a good graphical experience.

Samsung decided to sell this cellphone with a good performance CPU ticking at 832 MHz. Collaborating with graphic intensive applications, it also counts with a 320 megahertz ARM Mali-400 MP1 graphic processing unit. This cellphone comes with a little 153,6 MB internal storage memory, which could be enough for some users having that it also has an SD card slot to store songs, pictures and videos.

This phone provides wifi capability (although it can't be shared with other devices acting as a wireless router or modem) and 3G fast connectivity, over HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card to use GSM services.

This cellphone has only a 2 mega-pixels back facing camera. This phone can also shoot 320x240 QVGA videos.

This phone also features a handful of useful characteristics such as NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your cellphone close to another NFC device or tag), Bluetooth and GPS, and a few sensors likeProximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This phone comes with a 1200 mAh small capacity Li-Ion removable battery that provides the Samsung Wave Y a quite short battery lifecompared to other devices. Samsung reports a 6.7 hours talk time and a 570 hours stand by time for this cellphone.

This cellphone is not a good choice considering it costs $ 70, and some similar cellphones can be found for much less money.
