Sony Ericsson Xperia X8a Review

Sony Ericsson Xperia X8a is a decent Android cellphone released back in the year 2010, which counts with a 3-inches touch-screen, a good CPU ticking at 600 MHz and a 3.2 MP back-facing camera.

Sony decided to build this phone with a powerful 600 megahertz processing unit. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8a counts with a 131,07 MB internal storage memory, a low quantity that could be adequate for basic users considering this cellphone also has an external memory slot to store songs, photographs and videos and even some applications that allow being installed in the external memory.

Sony is offering this phone in many color variations like pink, blue, white and gray. Apparently Sony forgot about weight optimization in this 3.67 oz cellphone. This phone is quite thick compared to today's phones, with its 0.59" thickness.

This device only features a 3.2 MP back camera.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8a includes a good level 480 x 320 3" display, which makes all images and movies look good. This display uses TFT capacitive technology, but it doesn't allow multi-touch gestures.

This cellphone has wi-fi connection (although it can't provide it to other devices around, acting as a hotspot) and fast 3G data connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA and UMTS technologies. This cellphone works with a SIM card for GSM connection.

This phone packs a poor capacity 1200 mAh Li-Polymer removable battery that provides this cellphone a not very long battery lifecompared to other phones. Sony informs a talk time of 4.8 hours and a stand by time of 446 hs for this cellphone.
