Spice Mobile Stellar 524 Review
Score: 49.3 / 100Spice Mobile Stellar 524 is a decent quality cellphone, packed with a big 5" touch-screen, a great 1300 MHz Quad-Core CPU, and two cameras, a 13 megapixels back facing camera and a 3.2 mega-pixels front facing camera.
Spice Mobile just sells this phone in white color. Apparently Spice Mobile forgot about optimizing the weight in this 6.88 oz cellphone. This cellphone is quite thin and looks really nice, but it's not close to being one of the thinnest phones nowadays, with a thickness of 0.42". The Spice Mobile Stellar 524 only has 5.52" long and 2.85 inches wide, but it still manages to hold a 5 inches display.
Spice Mobile decided to sell this cellphone with a high-tech Quad-Core processor ticking at 1300 megahertz with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a bit disappointing comparing with the Spice Mobile Stellar 524's great CPU. A nice advantage of this cellphone is its 8 GB quite big internal memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, which allows you to install a couple hundred apps and games without worrying about space.
Spice Mobile packed the Spice Mobile Stellar 524 with a good looking 5-inches display, and a resolution of 1280 x 720 (HD), which makes all images and movies look colorful and brightful. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 3.2 megapixels front-facing camera. This cellphone also includes auto-focus.
This phone counts with a 2000 mAh mid capacity Li-Polymer replaceable battery, which is quite low for a thirsty device like this.
This cellphone features WiFi connectivity (although it can't be shared with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and 3G data connection, supported by UMTS and EDGE technologies. This device works with a SIM card for GSM carriers.
