The Toshiba TG02 feels much lighter than what one would expect from a phone of this size. Being just 0.39" thick,this cellphone is extremely thin and stilized.
This device includes a very good 800 x 480 4.1" screen, which makes everything look colorful and brightful. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, but it's not multi-touch.
This phone is equipped with a powerful 1 gigahertz processor, included in the Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 QSD8250 chip with as little as 256 MB RAM memory. Graphic intensive applications and games generally uses a lot of processing power, so this cellphone uses an extra 128 megahertz Adreno 200 GPU to help with that calculations.
This cellphone doesn't have any cameras. It is also able to shoot videos in VGA 640x480.
This phone features a poor capacity 1000 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that can keep it running for some hours, but you may need to charge it even after moderate use. Toshiba afirms this device has a 4.6 hours talk time and a 225 hours stand by time.
The Toshiba TG02 counts with wifi connection (but it can't provide it to other devices around, as a mobile mobile hotspot) and 3G fast connection type, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM carriers.
