This phone isn't very light comparing with today standards, weighting 4.93 ounces. This phone isn't really a compact device, taking into account that it is 4.56" long,but it only holds a 2.5 inches screen. This device is a little thick for nowadays standards, with its 0.59 inches thickness.
This device has a interesting 2.5" screen with a 240 x 320 (QVGA) resolution, which makes all pictures and videos look quite vivid. This screen uses TFT resistive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.
This cellphone offers Wi-Fi connection (but it can't provide it to other devices as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast connection type, supported by HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.
The Velocity 111 is equipped with only a 2 MP back camera.
