Xiaomi Redmi 3 Review

Xiaomi Redmi 3 is a fascinating Android device launched in January 2016, packing a very fast Octa-Core CPU clocking at 1.5 GHz, a 5-inches screen, a 13 mega-pixels back side camera and a 5 megapixels front facing camera.

This phone comes with an extremely powerful Octa-Core processor running at 1500 MHz, packed into a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 8939v2 chip with a huge 2 GB RAM memory. A good feature of the Xiaomi Redmi 3 is the 16 GB quite big internal memory and an external memory slot, which allows the user to install a couple hundred games and apps without worrying about space.

Xiaomi did a great job making the Xiaomi Redmi 3 weight just 5.08 ounces. The Xiaomi Redmi 3 is for sale in 3 different colors, gold, gray and silver. This phone is just 0.33" thick, making its way into the thinnest phones podium. Although this phone just has 5.48" long, it still manages to hold a 5 inches screen.

This phone is equipped with a very good 5 inches display with a 720 x 1280 (HD) resolution, giving this phone a very good image quality.

This cellphone has two cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 5 mega-pixels front side camera. It is capable of filming Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 30 fps.

This cellphone counts with wi-fi connection (which it can share with other devices around, acting as a wireless router or modem), LTE 4G high speed connection type and 3G fast connectivity, supported by HSPA technologies. This cellphone uses a Micro SIM card to use GSM services.

This phone also comes with plenty of great features as Infrared Blaster, Bluetooth, GPS and FM Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3 has a 4100 mAh high capacity non-removable battery, enough to provide this cellphone with an incredible battery duration. An issue to evaluate is that this cellphone's battery isn't replaceable so you can't buy a new battery when it starts to lose its charge, whereas with so much capacity you will probably buy a new phone before that happens.
