ZTE Racer Review

ZTE Racer is a quite basic Android phone, which counts with a 2.8-inches screen, a 3.2 MP back facing camera and a good 528 megahertz CPU.

ZTE decided to equip this phone with a powerful 528 megahertz processor and just 256 MB RAM memory. The ZTE Racer has a 262,14 MB internal storage memory, a low amount that might be enough for some basic users considering it also has a slot for an external memory card to store songs, photographs and videos.

The ZTE Racer isn't very light comparing with today standards, weighting 3.53 ounces. ZTE made the ZTE Racer in 2 colors, black and white. This cellphone is a little bit thick for nowadays standards, with a thickness of 0.57". The ZTE Racer isn't really a compact device, taking into account that it is 4.02 inches long,but it just holds a 2.8" display.

ZTE packed this cellphone with a good 2.8-inches screen, and a 320 x 240 (QVGA) resolution, which makes everything look quite vivid. Its screen uses TFT yes technology, but it doesn't allow multi-touch gestures.

This phone offers WiFi connection (but it can't share it with other devices acting as a wireless modem) and fast 3G internet connection, supported by HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

This phone has only a 3.2 mega-pixels back side camera.

This device counts with a 1000 mAh poor capacity removable battery that provides the ZTE Racer a quite short battery duration comparing with other similar phones. According to ZTE, this phone has an aproximate 3.5 hours talk time and a 180 hs stand by time.
