ZTE Warp is a mid-end device released back in the year 2011, which features a 4.3 inches multi-touch screen, a 5 mega-pixels back camera and a great performance 1 gigahertz processor.
This phone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 MSM8655 system chip, including a good performance processing unit speeding at 1 gigahertz with 512 MB of RAM memory. This cellphone comes with a 4 GB internal memory, a moderate quantity that should be adequate for the average user considering that it also has a slot for an SD memory card to store songs, photographs and videos and even some applications that allow external memory installation.
Though this phone is quite thin it's not close to being one of the thinnest cellphones currently available, with a thickness of 0.45". This time, it seems like ZTE forgot about optimizing the weight in this 4.93 oz device.
The ZTE Warp has only a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera. The camera also features some good characteristics: auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.
ZTE equipped this cellphone with a good looking 4.3" screen, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , which makes everything look great. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
This phone offers WiFi connection (but it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a modem) and 3G data connection, supported by EV-DO A technologies. This phone doesn't have a sim card, because it doesn't support GSM networks and it can work with CDMA networks.
This phone packs a medium capacity 1600 mAh Li-Ion battery that can keep this phone running for some hours, but you may need to charge it after some moderate to heavy usage. ZTE afirms this phone has a talk time of 7.5 hours and a stand by time of 270 hours.
This phone also includes a couple of interesting features like Bluetooth (2.1) and GPS Geolocation, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
ZTE offers the ZTE Warp for 75 dollars, which is a very high price for this type of phone.
