Comparison review
Acer Iconia W700 is a little bit better than the Acer Iconia A1, having a general score of 59.6 against 55.4. Even being the best in this review, we must tell that it is also incredibly heavier and thicker. The Acer Iconia W700 counts with Windows 8 Pro operating system, and Acer Iconia A1 comes with Android 4.1 operating system.
The Acer Iconia W700 features just a little better hardware performance than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and a faster GPU running at 650 megahertz. The Acer Iconia A1 has just a bit better display than Acer Iconia W700, although it has a bit worse display density, a much smaller screen and a lot lower resolution of 768 x 1024.
The Acer Iconia A1 counts with a way better camera than Acer Iconia W700. They have the same video frame rates, a 5 MP camera and the same (Full HD) video resolution. The Acer Iconia W700 has a much bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage.
The Acer Iconia A1 has a much longer battery lifetime than Acer Iconia W700.
Although Acer Iconia W700 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Acer Iconia A1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Acer Iconia A1.
