The Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) has a general score of 59.5, which is a little bit better than Acer Iconia A1's 55.4 general score. Both of these tablets use Android OS (operating system), but the Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) has a newer 4.4 version while Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1, so it gives a couple additional features and enhanced performance. Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) is a thinner and lighter tablet than the Acer Iconia A1.

The Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) features a much sharper screen than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1920 x 1200 and a way higher pixel count per inch of screen. Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) has a quite superior hardware performance than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory and a 64 bits processing unit.

The Acer Iconia A1 takes much clearer videos and photos than Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C), and although they both have the same resolution camera, the Acer Iconia A1 also has a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality. The Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) counts with a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Acer Iconia A1, because it has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB and 16 GB more internal memory.

The Acer Iconia A1 features a much better battery duration than Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C).

Although Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Acer Iconia A1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Acer Iconia A1. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C), but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Acer Iconia A1, letting go a couple specs and features.
