Comparison review

Google Nexus 7 (2013) is way better than Acer Iconia A1, having a overall score of 70.8 against 55.4. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but the Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a more recent 5.0 version and Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1, providing the user some nice extra features. Although the Google Nexus 7 (2013) and the Acer Iconia A1 were only released with a couple months difference, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) is a lot lighter and way thinner.

The Google Nexus 7 (2013) has just a little better hardware performance than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also has a higher amount of RAM and a much better graphics processing unit. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) features a sharper screen than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better pixel quantity per inch in the screen and a lot better 1200 x 1920px resolution.

Acer Iconia A1 shoots clearer photos and videos than Google Nexus 7 (2013). Both have a 5 MP back camera, the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) counts with a slightly better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory capacity.

The Acer Iconia A1 has better battery lifetime than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has a 26% greater battery capacity.

The Google Nexus 7 (2013) costs a lot more money than the Acer Iconia A1, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
