Comparison review
The HP ProPad 600 has an overall score of 58.2, which is a little bit better than the Acer Iconia A1's general score of 55.4. The HP ProPad 600 counts with Windows 8.1 OS, and Acer Iconia A1 works with Android 4.1 OS. The HP ProPad 600 design is noticeably heavier but somewhat thinner than Acer Iconia A1, and both were only released with a couple months difference.
HP ProPad 600 features just a bit better processing power than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the HP ProPad 600 also counts with more RAM. HP ProPad 600 has a little more vivid screen than Acer Iconia A1, because it has a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920px, a greater pixel density and a larger screen.
Acer Iconia A1 has a slightly better camera than HP ProPad 600, although it has a much less mega-pixels resolution camera in the back. The HP ProPad 600 features a lot bigger memory to store more games and applications than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 48 GB more internal memory capacity.
HP ProPad 600 has a very superior battery performance than Acer Iconia A1, because it has an 8380mAh battery capacity.
Although HP ProPad 600 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Acer Iconia A1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Acer Iconia A1. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy HP ProPad 600, else you can save some dollars and buy the Acer Iconia A1, giving up a couple features and specifications.
