Huawei MediaPad M1 has an overall score of 61.5, which is much better than the Acer Iconia A1's 55.4 general score. The Huawei MediaPad M1 design is way thinner and somewhat lighter than the Acer Iconia A1, although they were released with only a couple of months difference. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but Huawei MediaPad M1 has a more recent 4.2.2 version while Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1 version.

Acer Iconia A1 captures better photographs and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1. The Acer Iconia A1 features a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 32 GB, the Acer Iconia A1 also has 16 GB internal memory capacity.
Acer Iconia A1 has a little better battery performance than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a 4960mAh battery capacity against 4800mAh.
Although Huawei MediaPad M1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Acer Iconia A1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Acer Iconia A1. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Acer Iconia A1, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your savings.
