Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 is just a bit better than the Acer Iconia A1, with a overall score of 60.4 against 55.4. The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 is a lighter and much thinner portable tablet than Acer Iconia A1. These tablets include Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a newer 4.3 version and Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1.
Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a bit sharper display than Acer Iconia A1, because it has a bit higher 1280 x 800 resolution, a just a little higher number of pixels per inch of display and a little bit bigger screen. Acer Iconia A1 features a lot bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports up to 32 GB, the Acer Iconia A1 also has 8 GB more internal storage.
Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a little faster processing unit than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also has a much better graphics processing unit running at 400 MHz. The Acer Iconia A1 features a bit superior battery performance than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a 4960mAh battery capacity.
The Acer Iconia A1 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and although they both have a camera in the back with a 5 mega pixels, the Acer Iconia A1 also has a way higher (Full HD) video quality.
Although Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Acer Iconia A1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Acer Iconia A1. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Acer Iconia A1, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
