Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is better than Acer Iconia A1, getting a 64.2 score against 55.4. The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is a incredibly thinner but a bit heavier tablet device than the Acer Iconia A1. The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has Windows 8.1 OS, while Acer Iconia A1 comes with Android 4.1 OS. The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has a little bit better performance than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Lenovo ThinkPad 8 also counts with more RAM.

The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has a slightly better looking screen than Acer Iconia A1, because it has a lot better 1920 x 1200 resolution, a quite bigger screen and a way better amount of pixels per display inch. The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 features a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
