Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is way better than the Acer Iconia A1, with a global score of 82.4 against 55.4. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) comes with Windows 10 Pro OS, and Acer Iconia A1 counts with Android 4.1 OS. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) design is much newer and way thinner than the Acer Iconia A1's, although it is also noticeably heavier.
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a little bit better hardware performance than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor and a lower number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a little sharper display than Acer Iconia A1, because it has a really bigger screen, a much higher resolution of 2736 x 1824 and a much greater pixel density.
The Acer Iconia A1 shoots clearer photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), although it has a lower 1920x1080 video definition and a back facing camera with much less mega pixels resolution.
