Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is better than Acer Iconia A1, getting a 66.3 score against 55.4. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is an older and extremely heavier device than Acer Iconia A1, but Samsung managed to make it extremely thinner anyway. These devices use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has 4.4 version and Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1, counting with some nice extra features.

Galaxy Note 10.1's processor is very similar to the processor in Acer Iconia A1, because although the Galaxy Note 10.1 has doesn't have an extra GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, it also counts with more RAM memory. The Acer Iconia A1 counts with a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a little bit worse resolution of 768 x 1024 pixels, it also counts with a quite better pixels number per inch of screen.

The Acer Iconia A1 shoots way better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the Acer Iconia A1 also has a much higher video quality. The Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a much greater memory capacity for applications and games than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 32 GB, the Galaxy Note 10.1 also has 48 GB more internal memory.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a way better battery life than Acer Iconia A1, because it has a 7000mAh battery size instead of 4960mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Acer Iconia A1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Acer Iconia A1. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Acer Iconia A1, resigning a couple specs and features.
