Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is better than the Acer Iconia A1, having a general score of 63 against 55.4. Both of these devices use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has newer 4.4.2 version and Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1 version. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE's construction is thinner but way heavier than the Acer Iconia A1, and both were released with only a few months difference.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE's processor is just as good as Acer Iconia A1's CPU, because although the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have the same number of cores, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory. Acer Iconia A1 counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a really smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 768 x 1024, it also counts with a little bit better pixel number in each display inch.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE features just a bit more storage capacity to install games and applications than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 64 GB. Acer Iconia A1 features a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, and although they both have a back camera with a 5 mega pixels, the Acer Iconia A1 also has a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it is way more expensive than Acer Iconia A1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Acer Iconia A1. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Acer Iconia A1, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
