Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 has a general score of 78.2, which is much better than the Acer Iconia A1's 55.4 general score. Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2's design is a lot heavier but noticeably thinner than the Acer Iconia A1, and they were only released with a couple months difference. These devices come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 has 4.4 version while Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1, providing you lots of additional features and some performance improvements.
The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 features a better looking screen than Acer Iconia A1, because it has a lot larger display, a lot higher screen pixel density and a way better resolution of 1600 x 2560px. Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 features a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Acer Iconia A1, because it has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 64 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 is way more expensive than Acer Iconia A1, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
