Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is much better than Acer Iconia A1, with a 65.9 score against 55.4. These tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has 4.2 version and Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1, providing you a couple nice extra features and optimized performance. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch's design is much heavier but much thinner than the Acer Iconia A1, and they were only released 0 months apart.
Acer Iconia A1 features a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Acer Iconia A1 also has a greater number of cores (but slower) and an additional graphics co-processor. Acer Iconia A1 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a much smaller screen and a little bit lower resolution of 768 x 1024px, it also counts with a bit greater pixels density.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a much better memory to store more apps and games than Acer Iconia A1, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB and 16 GB more internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a way better battery lifetime than Acer Iconia A1, because it has a 6800mAh battery size.
The Acer Iconia A1 has a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has a much more mega-pixels camera in the back and a much better 1920x1080 video quality.
Although Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a better device, it costs a lot more than Acer Iconia A1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Acer Iconia A1. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Acer Iconia A1, letting go some features and specs.
