Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a global score of 67.8, which is much better than the Acer Iconia A1's general score of 55.4. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a newer and much thinner device than Acer Iconia A1, although it's heavier. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1 version, counting with lots of additional features.
Acer Iconia A1 has a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 768 x 1024px and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a quite greater pixel number per inch in the display. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a bit better processing unit than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 also has a greater amount of RAM memory and a faster graphics processing unit running at 450 MHz.
Acer Iconia A1 takes slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a camera with a way higher 5 MP resolution and a much higher video resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 also has an external memory slot that supports up to 64 GB.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a much longer battery performance than Acer Iconia A1, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity instead of 4960mAh.
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a lot more expensive than the Acer Iconia A1, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
