Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is much better than Acer Iconia A1, getting a 63.5 score against 55.4. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE body is extremely thinner and lighter than Acer Iconia A1. These tablets include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has the older 4.0 version and Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1 version.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a little sharper display than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher pixels quantity per screen inch and a little bit higher resolution of 800 x 1280. The Acer Iconia A1 counts with a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Acer Iconia A1 also has a better 384 megahertz graphics co-processor and more CPU cores.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE's storage capacity to store more apps and games is very similar to the Acer Iconia A1 one, both of them have equal internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 32 GB. Acer Iconia A1 takes way better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has a way higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a back camera with way more megapixels.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE features a bit superior battery life than Acer Iconia A1, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a better device, it is way more expensive than Acer Iconia A1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Acer Iconia A1. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Acer Iconia A1, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
