The Galaxy Tab A (2016) is a bit better than Acer Iconia A1, getting a general score of 60.4 against 55.4. Galaxy Tab A (2016) is a notably newer tablet, and it is also a lot thinner and extremely lighter than the Acer Iconia A1. Both tablets in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab A (2016) has 5.1 Lollipop version while Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1, so it provides you some extra features.
Acer Iconia A1 counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has way lesser pixels per inch in the screen and a little bit lower 768 x 1024 resolution, it also counts with a little bit bigger display. Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a slightly bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has only 8 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 200 GB.
Acer Iconia A1 has just a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has 512 MB lesser RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Acer Iconia A1 also counts with a graphics co-processor. The Acer Iconia A1 has greater battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a 24% bigger battery size.
