The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is better than the Acer Iconia A1, with a score of 62.8 against 55.4. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a newer portable tablet, and it's also incredibly lighter and noticeably thinner than Acer Iconia A1. These tablets come with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has the newer 7.1 Nougat version while Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1, so it provides a couple additional features and better performance.

The Acer Iconia A1 counts with a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Acer Iconia A1 also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
