Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Active has an overall score of 67, which is a lot better than Acer Iconia A1's 55.4 score. These devices include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab Active has newer 4.4 version and Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1 version, so it counts with a lot of extra features. The Galaxy Tab Active is a newer tablet, and it is also somewhat thinner and a bit lighter than Acer Iconia A1.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features just a bit better screen than Acer Iconia A1, because it has a little higher 1280 x 800 resolution, a little bit bigger screen and a little greater count of pixels per inch of screen. The Galaxy Tab Active has a little bit better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Tab Active also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 64 GB.
The Galaxy Tab Active has a bit superior processing unit than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Galaxy Tab Active also has 512 MB more RAM and a much better 450 megahertz graphics co-processor. Acer Iconia A1 counts with just a bit longer battery life than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has 4960mAh of battery capacity.
Acer Iconia A1 captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a back-facing camera with a much higher 5 mega pixels resolution and a way higher (Full HD) video resolution.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it is way more expensive than Acer Iconia A1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Acer Iconia A1. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Acer Iconia A1, letting go a couple features and specifications.
