Xiaomi MiPad has a general score of 64.4, which is better than the Acer Iconia A1's 55.4 score. Xiaomi MiPad is a newer tablet, and it's also lighter and way thinner than the Acer Iconia A1. Xiaomi MiPad counts with a better looking display than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have a same size display, the Xiaomi MiPad also has a lot more pixels per inch in the screen and a way higher 2048 x 1536 resolution.
The Xiaomi MiPad counts with more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi MiPad also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 128 GB. The Xiaomi MiPad features a little faster processing unit than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi MiPad also counts with a larger amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi MiPad features a much longer battery performance than Acer Iconia A1, because it has a 35% bigger battery size. Xiaomi MiPad shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Xiaomi MiPad also has a way more mega pixels back camera.
Although Xiaomi MiPad is a better device, it is way more expensive than Acer Iconia A1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Acer Iconia A1. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Acer Iconia A1, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your budget.
