Comparison review
Alcatel JOY TAB 2 is much better than the Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, having a overall score of 62.5 against 54.7. Both tablets in this review have Android OS (operating system), but Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has the older 10 version and Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 has Android 4.2.1. Alcatel JOY TAB 2 is a somewhat thicker but somewhat lighter device than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479.
The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has just a bit better processing power than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, because it has a larger number of faster cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. The Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 counts with a little more vivid screen than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, although it has a quite lower pixel density and a bit lower resolution of 1024 x 768, they both have a display of the same size.
Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, because it has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB and more internal memory capacity. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 captures better photographs and videos than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479. Both of them have the same video frame rate, a camera in the back with a 5 mega-pixels and the same video resolution.
Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has just a bit better battery duration than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, because it has a 2 percent greater battery capacity.
Despite of being the best tablet in this comparison, Alcatel JOY TAB 2 is also a bargain compared to the other ones.
