Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a lot better than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, with a 65.9 score against 54.7. Although it's the best portable tablet in this review, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a heavier and a little bit thicker portable tablet than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479. These devices work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has the older 4.2 version while Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 has Android 4.2.1.
Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 features a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a much smaller display and a little lower resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, it also counts with a bit higher number of pixels per inch in the display. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has much more storage for apps and games than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, because it has a SD card slot that admits up to 64 GB and 32 GB internal memory.
Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch both count with incredibly similar processing units, both of them have a 1 GB RAM memory and 2 cpu cores. Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, although it has a way worse 1280x720 video resolution and a back facing camera with a way lower 3 mega-pixels resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch features a really longer battery duration than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, because it has a 6800mAh battery size.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is more expensive than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
