Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a general score of 70.2, which is much better than the Acer Iconia A1-830-1479's 54.7 overall score. Even being the best in this review, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) construction is just a little thicker and incredibly heavier than the Acer Iconia A1-830-1479. These tablets use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version and Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 has Android 4.2.1 version, so it provides you some nice extra features.
Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) features a bit more powerful CPU than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory and more 1600 megahertz cores. Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 has a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), although it has a really smaller screen, a lot worse display pixel density and a much lower 1024 x 768 resolution.
