Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a general score of 62.8, which is much better than the Acer Iconia A1-830-1479's 54.7 general score. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a somewhat lighter and a bit thinner device than the Acer Iconia A1-830-1479. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has newer 7.1 Nougat version and Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 has Android 4.2.1.
Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 features a much better screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0. Both of them have the same number of pixels in each inch in the display, a display with the same size and exactly the same resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features more memory to install games and applications than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 has just a little better performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and less CPU cores. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features a little longer battery lifetime than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, because it has a 4200mAh battery size against 4000mAh. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a camera that is very similar to Acer Iconia A1-830-1479's camera, both have the same video quality, the same video frame rate and a same resolution back-facing camera.
Even being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is also a bargain compared to the other tablets.
