Comparison review
The Acer Iconia W700 is just a bit better than Acer Iconia A3, getting a 59.6 score against 55.2. The Acer Iconia W700 has Windows 8 Pro OS, and Acer Iconia A3 works with Android 4.2 OS. Despite being the best in this comparison, we must tell that it is also an older, extremely thicker and heavier tablet device.
Acer Iconia W700 has a little better performance than Acer Iconia A3, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a better graphics processor working at 650 MHz. The Acer Iconia A3 counts with just a bit better looking display than Acer Iconia W700, although it has a lot lower resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, a just a bit less pixels per inch in the display and a little bit smaller screen.
Acer Iconia W700 counts with a way bigger storage for apps and games than Acer Iconia A3, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The Acer Iconia A3 features just a bit better camera than Acer Iconia W700. They have a 5 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates.
Acer Iconia A3 counts with a very superior battery performance than Acer Iconia W700.
Although Acer Iconia W700 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Acer Iconia A3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia A3. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Acer Iconia A3, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
