Comparison review
Acer Predator 8 has a score of 57.7, which is slightly better than Acer Iconia A3's general score of 55.2. Acer Predator 8's design is notably newer, somewhat thinner and much lighter than the Acer Iconia A3. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Acer Predator 8 has a newer 5.1 Lollipop version while Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2, so it gives you some nice extra features.
The Acer Predator 8 features a bit faster processing unit than Acer Iconia A3, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Acer Predator 8 also counts with a greater amount of RAM. The Acer Iconia A3 features a slightly better display than Acer Predator 8, because although it has a way worse 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and a much lower pixels density, it also counts with a bigger screen.
The Acer Predator 8 features a very superior storage to install applications and games than Acer Iconia A3, because it has more internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 128 GB. Acer Predator 8 features improved battery duration than Acer Iconia A3, because it has a 4420mAh battery size against 3540mAh.
Acer Predator 8 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Acer Iconia A3. Both of them have a back camera with a 5 MP resolution.
Acer Predator 8 costs more than Acer Iconia A3, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
