Alcatel JOY TAB has a score of 59.4, which is a bit better than the Acer Iconia A3's 55.2 score. Alcatel JOY TAB's body is a lot newer, much lighter and somewhat thinner than the Acer Iconia A3. Both of these tablets use Android OS, but Alcatel JOY TAB has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2 version, offering lots of additional features and performance improvements.
The Acer Iconia A3 counts with a better looking screen than Alcatel JOY TAB, because although it has a bit less pixels per screen inch, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, the Acer Iconia A3 also counts with a larger display.
