Both of these tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Pixel C has the newer 6.0 version and Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2 version. Google Pixel C's body is newer, noticeably thinner and somewhat lighter than Acer Iconia A3.

Acer Iconia A3 has a very superior CPU than Google Pixel C, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores and an additional graphics processing unit. The Google Pixel C counts with an incredibly better screen than Acer Iconia A3, because it has more brightness, a bit bigger display, a lot better pixels count per inch in the display and a way better resolution of 1800 x 2560.

The Google Pixel C takes much clearer videos and photos than Acer Iconia A3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video definition, the Google Pixel C also has a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera. The Google Pixel C counts with a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Acer Iconia A3, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.

Acer Iconia A3 counts with a really longer battery performance than Google Pixel C.

Although Google Pixel C is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Acer Iconia A3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Acer Iconia A3. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Acer Iconia A3, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
