Comparison review

LG G Pad 8.3 is better than the Acer Iconia A3, with a overall score of 65.9 against 55.2. Even when the LG G Pad 8.3 and the Acer Iconia A3 were released only 1 months apart, the LG G Pad 8.3 is incredibly lighter and thinner. Both devices we compare here use Android OS (operating system), but LG G Pad 8.3 has a newer 4.4 version while Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2.

The LG G Pad 8.3 has just a bit better looking screen than Acer Iconia A3, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much higher pixels number per inch in the screen and a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. LG G Pad 8.3 features a bit bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Acer Iconia A3, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 64 GB.

The LG G Pad 8.3 has a little bit better hardware performance than Acer Iconia A3, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, the LG G Pad 8.3 also counts with more RAM. LG G Pad 8.3 counts with improved battery performance than Acer Iconia A3, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity against 3540mAh.

LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a very superior camera than Acer Iconia A3. Both have a same resolution camera in the back, the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video quality.

Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, the LG G Pad 8.3 is also a bargain compared to others.
