Microsoft Surface RT has a score of 58.4, which is just a bit better than Acer Iconia A3's overall score of 55.2. Microsoft Surface RT counts with Windows RT OS, while Acer Iconia A3 comes with Android 4.2 OS. Microsoft Surface RT's body is a little thinner than the Acer Iconia A3, but it is heavier and was released about a year before.

Acer Iconia A3 has a much better looking screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a little bit lower resolution of 800 x 1280px, it also counts with a little better pixel density. The Microsoft Surface RT features a superior storage for games and applications than Acer Iconia A3, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
