Comparison review

Galaxy Note 10.1 has an overall score of 66.3, which is better than Acer Iconia A3's 55.2 global score. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 10.1 has a more recent 4.4 version and Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2, so it provides some nice extra features. Although the Galaxy Note 10.1 is older and a little bit heavier than Acer Iconia A3, it's design is still somewhat thinner.

The Acer Iconia A3 features a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Acer Iconia A3 also counts with an additional GPU. Acer Iconia A3 counts with a much better screen than Galaxy Note 10.1. Both have a screen with the same size, the same screen pixel density and the same resolution of 800 x 1280px.

The Acer Iconia A3 features a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have a 5 MP resolution camera in the back, the Acer Iconia A3 also has a way better 1920x1080 video quality. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a much greater storage for games and applications than Acer Iconia A3, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 32 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 also has 48 GB more internal storage.

Galaxy Note 10.1 has a very superior battery performance than Acer Iconia A3, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity.

Galaxy Note 10.1 is way more expensive than Acer Iconia A3, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
