Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has an overall score of 60.7, which is just a bit better than Acer Iconia A3's 55.2 overall score. These tablets include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has older 4.1 version while Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2 version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is an older and a little thicker portable tablet than Acer Iconia A3, but Samsung could make it noticeably lighter anyway.

Acer Iconia A3 features just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the Acer Iconia A3 also has a greater number of cores and an additional GPU.
