Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a general score of 65.9, which is much better than Acer Iconia A3's overall score of 55.2. Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a just a bit lighter and extremely thinner tablet device than the Acer Iconia A3, even when both of them were only released with a couple months difference. Both of these tablets use the same Android 4.2 OS.
Acer Iconia A3 counts with a much better screen than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch. They have a screen of the same size, the same 800 x 1280 resolution and a better pixels amount per inch of screen. The Acer Iconia A3 has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Acer Iconia A3 also has an additional graphics co-processor and a greater number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a slightly better camera than Acer Iconia A3, although it has a much less megapixels resolution camera in the back and a way lower 1280x720 video resolution. Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch features a much bigger memory to install applications and games than Acer Iconia A3, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 64 GB and more internal storage.
