Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is much better than Acer Iconia A3, getting a 68.7 score against 55.2. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's design is incredibly lighter and noticeably thinner than the Acer Iconia A3, even when they were only released with a few months difference. Both of these tablets use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has the newer 4.2.2 version and Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2 version.
The Acer Iconia A3 counts with a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has a just a little less pixels per inch of display, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Acer Iconia A3 also counts with a larger screen. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a little faster processing unit than Acer Iconia A3, because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with more RAM memory and a much better graphics co-processor working at 1064 MHz.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Acer Iconia A3, because it has 16 GB more internal memory capacity and an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has greater battery lifetime than Acer Iconia A3, because it has 4450mAh of battery capacity instead of 3540mAh.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a better camera than Acer Iconia A3. Both of them have the same resolution back facing camera, the same video frame rate and the same (HD) video quality.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch not only is the best tablets between the ones we are comparing, but it's also the cheapest one.
