Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V has a global score of 58.5, which is a little bit better than the Acer Iconia A3's 55.2 score. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V's design is a bit thinner and notably lighter than Acer Iconia A3. Both tablets we are comparing use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V has 4.4 version and Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2, offering some nice extra features and some performance improvements.
The Acer Iconia A3 counts with a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab 3 V, because although it has a just a little lower display density, it also counts with a really bigger screen and a higher 800 x 1280 resolution. The Acer Iconia A3 counts with a bit superior processor than Galaxy Tab 3 V, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the Acer Iconia A3 also has an additional GPU and a larger number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V's camera is just as good as the Acer Iconia A3 one, although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V has a much worse 640x480 (VGA) video quality and a lot less megapixels back facing camera. Acer Iconia A3 has a much greater storage to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 3 V, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB, the Acer Iconia A3 also has 8 GB more internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Tab 3 V has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Acer Iconia A3, because it has a 2 percent larger battery size.
Galaxy Tab 3 V is not only the best tablets in our current comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest one.
