The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is much better than Acer Iconia A3, getting a 70.2 score against 55.2. Both of these tablets include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has newer 8.1 Oreo version while Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2 version, providing you some nice extra features. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016)'s construction is notably newer, a little lighter and notably thinner than Acer Iconia A3.
Acer Iconia A3 counts with a little sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), although it has a much lower 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and a lot worse pixel count per inch in the display, they both have a display with the same size. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a bit more powerful processing unit than Acer Iconia A3, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a larger number of cores (and faster).
